Virtual Assistant Privacy

This page covers information shared in a conversation with a TruLine virtual assistant. For how TruLine handles inspection bookings, payments, and your California privacy rights, see our full Privacy Policy.

What information is collected

A visitor, buyer, or customer may submit their name and contact information during a chat conversation with a TruLine virtual assistant — and only after they affirmatively consent to share it. Nothing is collected unless the person checks the consent box and submits the form themselves.

How it's used

The information is passed through by secure referral directly to the business owner the assistant represents — the listing agent or the trade professional. It is used only so that business owner can follow up with the person who asked. TruLine does not store this information in a database, does not sell it, and does not use it for marketing.

What TruLine retains

Only the consented email notification generated when a lead is referred to the business owner. No separate lead database is maintained, and no chat-submitted contact details are written to our records.

Consent

At the point of capture, the consent text is shown in full and is never pre-checked. By checking it, the person agrees that the details they enter will be shared with that specific business owner so they can be contacted about their question — not with TruLine for its own use and not with third parties or advertisers.

Requesting deletion

Because no lead database is kept, there is usually nothing stored to delete. If you would like the consented referral notification removed, or you have a question about information you submitted, email businessoffice@trulineinspections.com and we will confirm the request.
